Trump Inaugural Speech is "dark" ... for the left

Liberal pundits, in unison, declared President Donald Trump’s inaugural address to be dark and for them it was. Indeed, President Trump called for the dismantlement of the whole rotten authoritarian edifice that liberals have built up over at least the last several decades.

we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.

President Trump articulated a common-sense principle, one that the liberal elites and their media academic and cultural soldiers thought they had eradicated from public consciousness, which is that authority does not emanate from the government but from the sovereign citizen under God.

As the new president continued, the camera panned briefly to the mortified and frozen faces of former President Obama and Hillary Clinton.

For too long, a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have born the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed.

Bingo. President Trump nailed it by exposing the fact that the public sector has indeed reaped the rewards over the last 8 years while working people got the shaft. Most of the 5 trillion that Obama borrowed, at interest, went to propping up the national and state government and the massive infrastructure of so-called entitlements while the private sector sank. President Trump inherits a $20 trillion-dollar deficit and a huge thicket of anti-business and anti-freedom regulations.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th, 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

President Trump defeated not only the Democrats but also the establishment Republicans as he returns the government to the people in a fashion that has not occurred since the election of Andrew Jackson in 1828. Jackson balanced the budget, defeated the corrupt and elitist Washington establishment by shutting down the National Bank and launching a golden age of American currency, and he mentored no less than six presidential successors.

Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves.

Donald Trump is not known for uttering flowery meaningless rhetoric in the phony British accent that we have grown accustomed to hearing from our national leaders. President Trump means what he says when he states that he plans to put all Americans first and to make America great again. We can expect an end to the bizarre and inexplicable policies, always presented in a form of double-talk, that allows violent criminals and gangs to roam the streets of our cities and anti-business policies that perpetrate poverty.

For many decades, we've enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry, subsidized the armies of other countries, while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military.
We've defended other nations' borders, while refusing to defend our own, and spent trillions and trillions of dollars overseas, while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.
President Trump re-asserts national interest in a way that has not been heard by a major American politician in our lifetime and he is now the President of the United States. Some on the left have called President Trump a hyper-Nationalist but this could not be further from the truth. Unlike the liberal establishment, President Trump seeks to end the hyper-nationalist nanny state that pokes its nose in virtually all aspects of our lives while shoving its hand into our pocket.

The bible tells us how good and pleasant it is when god's people live together in unity. We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.

When President Trump talks about making America great again he means for all Americans. We should see through the big lie of the left that would claim otherwise while they sow division to advance their own agenda. President Trump’s vision, as articulated in an inaugural speech that should be forevermore read and studied, offers a genuinely sunny vision of freedom.
